Spoilers! Everything in the game is here: things, recipes, dangers, animals, totems… If you'd rather find out by playing, come back later.
Surviving
Each day you pick one card from your hand. It plays out, the day passes, and a new hand is dealt.
What you find goes into your pack: tap a thing there to eat it, drink, or tend a wound.
Making things, building and giving orders don't use a card: your hand waits while you do them. Some take days.
The tiles at the top tell you about your fire, your camp, your people, the weather and your animals: tap one to learn more.
What keeps you alive
- HealthIf it falls to zero, your story ends. It heals slowly when you are fed, watered and rested.
- FoodEmpties a little every day. Eat from your pack before it runs out: at zero you starve.
- WaterNear rivers, lakes and the sea you drink freely. Away from water you dry out in a few days.
- EnergyMost cards cost energy; time and food bring it back. At zero, exhaustion wears you down.
- MoraleYour people's spirits. In high spirits they work harder; when spirits break, people leave.
